Programmes

Each apprenticeship can be offered to existing staff members (in situ) or as a new post. Please indicate if your requirement is for an In Situ and /or New Post as relevant for each apprenticeship. Please also indicate the approximate numbers of proposed apprenticeship posts if known.

Post Graduate Teaching Apprenticeship
The route to QTS. Fee free for trainees and bursaries available to the school for many subjects. Primary or Secondary Phase.

Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Level 3
Accreditation for the full range of skill sets and responsibilities for a full or part-time Teaching Assistant. Primary or Secondary phase.

Play Therapy Apprenticeship Level 7
Developed by an employer group to help meet the mental health needs of children within their provisions. As well as Special School settings this qualification will suit settings where children, post-covid, have significant mental health issues that require a wider range of support strategies.

Site Manager Apprenticeship Level 2,3,4
This apprenticeship prepares an individual for managing a facilities management service, or a group of services, which can be labelled as ‘hard’ (estate/building management) or soft (catering/cleaning/administration/security). Primary or Secondary Phase.

SENDCO Apprenticeship Level 7
A fee free route to training a SENDCO, inclusive of the NASENCO award. The apprenticeship is in it's final stages of IfATE approval, the course should be available after Easter 2022.

Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship Level 2
An informative apprenticeship for those working with children 0-5. Designed to introduce a range of topics to those who have only limited prior experience.

Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Level 3
The benchmark apprenticeship for all those wanting a career working with children 0-5. An excellent progression route for those who have already achieved Level 2 or for those who have experience working with children.

Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship Level 5
For those members of staff who have a leadership role within an early years setting. This apprenticeship is a steppingstone towards a management role.

Unfortunately you will be unable to enrol onto an apprenticeship without a current employer who is willing to support your development through the programme.

You may wish to approach local settings directly to enquire whether they would be interested in supporting an apprenticeship. Should you identify a setting willing to do so, we would be pleased to support both you and the setting with your apprenticeship training.
